AR Murugadoss is reportedly keen to make a movie with "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" actor Salman Khan. Murugadoss, who is known for remaking "Ghajini" in Hindi, is writing a different script for Salman, according to reports.
Earlier reports suggested that Salman had planned to team up with Murugadoss for the remake of the Tamil film "Kaththi", but now, "Airlift" actor Akshay Kumar is working with Murugadoss in the Hindi remake of the film.
However, Salman's fans need not be disappointed as the director is working on a different script for Salman and if all goes well then the film will go on floors before the end of 2016, Mid-Day reported.
"Murugadoss is working on another script for Salman. The star is extremely eager to work with him. The film is likely to go on floors in the second half of 2016 and will be produced by Atul Agnihotri, Salman's brother-in-law," Mid-Day quoted a source as saying.
Murugadoss has worked with only two Bollywood actors -- Aamir Khan in "Ghajini" and Akshay in "Holiday – A Soldier Is Never Off Duty", and both the films are remakes of his superhit Tamil movies. The director is currently shooting "Akira", again a remake of his Tamil film, starring Sonakshi Sinha and Konkona Sen Sharma.
It will be interesting to see Murugadoss working with Salman, but it remains to be seen whether it will be a remake of any of his films or a fresh script.
Meanwhile, there were reports that Salman has shown interest in the Hindi remake of Tamil film "Thani Oruvan", but there has been no official confirmation from the makers regarding the same. Apart from these, Salman is currently working on "Sultan", which features Anushka Sharma in the female lead role.
