Salman Khan will reportedly sing a song for Randeep Hooda's upcoming movie, "Laal Rang." It has been said that Randeep himself asked Salman to lend his voice for a song in the film and the superstar immediately agreed. Salman and Randeep had worked together in the blockbuster "Kick" and the duo will again share screen space in "Sultan."
"Randeep and Salman got along famously, after they worked together in 'Kick.' Salman then recommended his name for the role of a wrestling trainer in his upcoming film, 'Sultan.' Randeep, who owns a few horses, inspired Khan to get a few horses of his own. Randeep guided him on what kind of horses to buy and about their upkeep. They have remained in touch. So, when Randeep requested Salman to sing a song for his 'Laal Rang,' which revolves around the blood donation racket, Bhaijaan immediately agreed," DNA quoted a source as saying.
According to the report the song will feature Randeep along with Akshay Oberoi and will celebrate friendship, bonding and brotherhood. "While the song will be picturised on Randeep and Akshay, a small video of Salman singing it may be incorporated in the video. This will be used as a promotional video only and not part of the film," the source added.
Salman was last seen singing a song for the Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty-starrer, "Hero." The video of the song, which showed Salman recording the track in a studio, was an instant hit. The number became highly popular and helped the film's promotion to a great extent.
Salman's first song — "Hangover" for the movie "Kick" — was a chartbuster too. The actor is currently busy shooting for "Sultan," which also features Anushka Sharma. He will be seen playing the character of a wrestler from Haryana in the Ali Abbas Zafar-directed venture.
