Salman Khan, who is rumoured to be dating Romanian beauty Iulia Vantur, is likely to get married by the end of 2016. Although there are no confirmed reports on Salman's marriage plans, a blind item in a popular daily suggests that the "Sultan" actor might tie the knot this year.

The report hinted that Salman will marry Iulia by the end of this year and the reason for tying the knot with her is not his love for the girl but to make his mother's wish come true. The report suggested that Salman's mother is unwell and thus wants her son to be taken care of by his wife.

"SO the not-young and single superstar may well be married by the year's end. The forever bachelor has decided that nuff's nuff. We hear his current girlfriend, a foreigner, may soon end up being the most powerful woman in the film biz. Not an enviable spot we assure you, for it isn't her love that will make him pop a ring. Rather it's his ailing mum, who wants to see her baby boy well taken care of. Oh, the more things change," a blind news on Mumbai Mirror said.

Earlier, Salman's father Salim Khan had opened up on the star's marriage plans and said that it is completely up to the actor if he wants to get married or stay single. "It's Salman's choice. Whenever he wants to marry or not marry. I have never influenced my children, neither have I approved their choice. This is a family that never insults anybody, leave aside giving orders. It's a big responsibility. Kal ko shaadi mein gadbad ho jaaye toh aake mujhe bolenge ki aap hi ne kaha tha shaadi karne (laughs)," Salim had told SpotboyE earlier.

On work front, Salman will soon be seen as a wrestler in upcoming movie "Sultan." Directed by Ali Abaas Zafar, the film also features Anushka Sharma, Amit Sadh and Randeep Hooda. "Sultan" will hit the screens on Eid this year.
