Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez's friendship goes beyond their work, but it had apparently hit a roadblock after he cracked an inappropriate joke on a public platform. However, things are looking up again and reports suggest they may reunite for a film soon.
According to a Deccan Chronicle report, the superstar had a secret meeting with Jacqueline at his sister's residence, Pacific Heights, Mumbai. The meeting went on for four hours after which he dropped Jacqueline off at her place and left for home. Speculations are rife that it could either be for "Kick 2" or a new project.
The chances of they coming together for a completely new film are more considering how there have been reports of Kriti Sanon being roped in for the "Kick" sequel. "Salman is really fond of Kriti and is instrumental in getting her on board to be the endorser of his team Mumbai Heroes in the CCL (Celebrity Cricket League). Also, he was batting for Kriti to be cast in 'Sultan' as well. Now, he wants to cast her in a film and we are sure that's happening soon," a source told DNA earlier this month.
In other news, Salman is busy wrapping up Ali Abbas Zafar's "Sultan" alongside Anushka Sharma. Slated for an Eid release, the action-drama will also feature Randeep Hooda and Amit Sadh in key roles. Meanwhile, Rohit Dhawan's "Dishoom" is keeping Jacqueline busy. She also has "Housefull 3" and "Flying Jatt" almost ready to hit screens on June 3 and August 25, respectively.
