Salman Khan continues to be the most loved Bollywood actor, beating the likes of Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar. In a monthly survey titled "Ormax Stars India Loves" (Ormax SIL), conducted by Ormax Media, the "Sultan" actor has secured the first slot in the list of top 10 Bollywood male stars for the month of May 2016.
"Ormax SIL" was conducted with a sample size of 3, 300 in 29 cities across India. The survey, meant to assess the popularity of some of the top Bollywood celebrities, shows that Salman is currently the most popular and loved Bollywood actor, followed by Shah Rukh and Akshay.
Others to feature in the list of top 10 male stars for May 2016 are Hrithik Roshan, Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan and Sunny Deol, in that order. Salman has consistently been topping the Ormax list of the most popular stars. Akshay, who was in the second slot in the month of March 2016, was pushed to the third position by SRK in April, and also in May.
Salman has been in news for his upcoming movie, "Sultan" that will present him as a wrestler. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, "Sultan" is one of the most awaited movies of 2016, in which fans are eagerly waiting to see their favourite star in a never-seen-before avatar.
Although Shah Rukh's "Raees" too has been much hyped and was supposed to be released along with "Sultan," the makers of the film have postponed its release. Akshay, who is currently on cloud nine with the success of "Housefull 3," will be seen next in a serious role in "Rustom." Hrithik and Aamir too are gearing up for their respective upcoming movies, "Mohenjo Daro" and "Dangal."
