Contrary to the reports, all is well between Sonakshi Sinha and Salman Khan. Reports were doing the rounds that Salman avoided Sonakshi at an award function and even refused to pose with the actress on Snapchat.
However, Sonakshi's public relations manager told International Business Times India that there is no truth to the rumours and all is fine between the two stars.
Salman and Sonakshi are apparently one of the best friends in Bollywood. Salman had even launched Sonakshi in the industry with the movie "Dabangg," which became a big hit. The actress again shared screen space with the superstar in "Dabangg 2."
Recent reports had claimed that Salman and Sonakshi's friendship had turned sour for some reasons after the release of "Dabangg." Later, the two had become friends again and featured together in the sequel to the hit film. And now, the actress' PR has confirmed that she and Salman are currently on good terms.
Salman is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming movie "Sultan" that also features Anushka Sharma. The film will present him as a wrestler from Haryana and it is one of the most awaited flicks of this year. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, "Sultan" also features Randeep Hooda and Amit Sadh, and will hit the screens on July 6.
On the other side, Sonakshi is gearing up for her big release "Akira." Directed by AR Murugadoss, "Akira" is the Hindi remake of Tamil hit movie "Mouna Guru." Sonakshi will be seen in a never-seen-before action avatar in the movie. The teaser of "Akira" was released recently and it looked impressive. The film also reportedly features Konkona Sen Sharma and Anurag Kashyap. It is slated to be released on Sep. 2.
