"Suits" creators have officially announced that season 5 of the legal drama would be aired starting Wednesday, 24 June. With a little over two months' wait ahead, the time is ripe to speculate what awaits Harvey, Donna, Mike, Rachel, Louis and Jessica in the upcoming season.
At the end of season 4, Donna (Sarah Rafferty) had given her boss, best friend and potential boyfriend Harvey (Gabriel Macht) an ultimatum – either be truly honest with his feelings for her, or lose her both as a friend and a colleague. Harvey made the wrong choice and Donna left his office for Louis (Rick Hoffman), who never fails to mention how amazing Donna is, at every chance he gets.
Donna's choice could lead the couple either way – towards each other, or away from each other, where both of them move on and meet other people. However, hardcore fans know for a fact that the writers couldn't be so cruel as to not give the power-couple a fighting chance at being together.
There is also news that Harvey may be heading to a psychiatrist's office, meaning he could work on his abandonment issues and work on a healthy relationship with Donna, the woman he clearly loves.
Rachel (Meghan Markle) and Mike (Patrick J. Adams) on the other hand seem to be adamant on being with each other. After the highs and lows of personal and professional struggles, the couple have come to the conclusion that they are made for each other. Mike finally puts a ring on Rachel, and the next season is probably all about their wedding preparations.
Meanwhile, Louis is the man who seems to have it all; his name on the wall and the secretary he wanted from the start. Jessica (Gina Torres) on the other hand is completely crestfallen after Jeff (D.B. Woodside) quits "Pearson Specter Litt" and breaks up with her.
Watch out for season 5 of "Suits" from 24 June, at 9.00 pm (EST) on Wednesdays in USA Network.
