David Ayer's "Suicide Squad", which is slated for release in 2016, is now under production. But somehow fans have managed to bag a lot of scope for plot rumours through on-the-sets leaked images.
Recently, a series of photos were shared by Ingrid Kleinig, Margot Robbie's stunt double in the DC film, on her Instagram. Though the actress was quick enough to delete it, fans have managed to get snapshots of the same.
There already have been various reports that have suggested that "Suicide Squad" may heavily revolve around Harley Quinn (aka Harleen Quinzel) and it's believed that her origin story will play a crucial role in the film. So, many think that these leaked images could possibly take fans back to Quinn's origin.
The photos reveal a logo of Ace Chemicals, which actually is a part of The Joker's origin story. But, these could also mean that David Ayer may take us deeper into Quinn's back-story.
Many websites like Batman-News have already pointed out that the Ace Chemicals shown in the images is the place where The Joker fell into a vat of chemicals and got his trademark white skin, green hair, and red lips.
Now, Movie Pilot has highlighted this is also the place where Harley Quinn was born in "Suicide Squad" comics. According to the website, The Joker tossed Quinn into the chemicals, which resulted in transforming her appearance in a similar way as his. And ever since, the mentally-troubled Quinn has devoted herself completely to The Joker.
Is it Harley Quinn or The Joker? Now fans will have to wait to know whose origin story David Ayer will actually narrate.
"Suicide Squad" is set for release on 5 August 2016.
