The much-anticipated trailer of Sui Dhaaga, starring Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma, is finally out and it is quite refreshing.
The three-minute long trailer introduces you to Mauji (Dhawan), a salesman who works at a shop that sells sewing machines. He often gets humiliated by his employer. His wife Mamta (Sharma) is an expert in embroidery and encourages her husband to start his own business.
Mauji and Mamta can also be seen struggling to find 'we time' as the latter always gets busy with her household chores. The trailer also gives you a glimpse into the tussle between Mauji and his family while he tries to settle his business.
After October, Varun Dhawan has once again proven his mettle on the screen by putting up a rusty performance while portraying Mauji. Anushka Sharma complements his rawness with the portrayal of a small-town girl. The two actors make you believe in their characters. They connect with you well through their quirky dialogues.
The movie brings the concept of 'Make in India' in focus. It tells the story of an ordinary man who does extraordinary things that are both inspiring and heartwarming. And it wouldn't be wrong to say that the film has blockbuster written all over it.
The trailer has also managed to floor the viewers with its desi feel and honest performances. Check out some of the responses from the audience on Twitter about Sui Dhaaga.
