It might come as a booster for the Kolkata Knight Riders franchise, who had faced two successive defeats in the ongoing cricket Indian Premier League (IPL).
Controversial Kingfisher model Poonam Pandey has done it again. Known for her bold attention-seeking tactics, she announced that she would strip for Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan.
"I will strip for Shahrukh," said Poonam on national television.
Earlier Poonam promised to strip if India won the Cricket World Cup in 2011. Talking about that on Zoom channel, the bold Poonam Pandey said, "I'm Shahrukh's big fan, if he would tell me to do strip for his team, then I would surely do it."
However, she left the responsibility of getting permission to strip on Shahrukh. "I couldn't keep up my promise because I didn't get the proper permission last time. However, I will do this time if Shahrukh get permission for me from the BCCI officials," candid Poonam said.
Further Poonam added, "If Shahrukh gets permission, first I would be able to fulfil my last year's commitment. And my fans wait shall also come to an end."
She also said that "if something good happens for the nation if I strip then what's wrong in that."
Last year, Poonam, who claims to be a diehard fan of cricket herself, promised a few days before the slated final match between India and Sri Lanka at Wankhede stadium in Mumbai, to strip if the men in blue lifted the World Cup. Hence, she managed to grab the same amount of attention as the final cricket match.
She even moved the BCCI for permission to bare it all in front of the world-cup wining team.
Now the question is whether King Khan will welcome Poonam's generous offering?
