Stranger Things is about to get a whole lot stranger this season. Eleven is expected to lose her powers or at least that's what Millie Bobbie Brown teased at in a recent interview with Variety.
"If Eleven loses her powers, is she as powerful just as a character? I think that would be very cool. I want to build her to be a strong person without her powers…But right now it's very about her powers and I think taking that away slowly could be cool," the portal quoted the actress as saying.
Brown said she would really love for her character (Eleven) to be able to experience what being a girl is like. Which means, Eleven needs a makeover. Apparently, her friends thought she was playing a male character on the show.
In other news, Joyce (Winona Ryder) and Hopper's (David Harbour) relationship will take a new turn. Their friendship will mature into something more intimate, something that involves late night conversations and coffee.
Elaborating on it, Harbour said that from the start he knew that these two emotionally fractured people need each other, even though they cannot stand each other's guts. Brown is totally excited about the idea that these two could get together, even get married.
"And in the show, if they rekindle, that means Will and Eleven will be step-siblings. I would love that because Noah [Schnapp] is my boy best friend," Brown said. That's a lot of love and new relationships right there.
What confirms this is the recently-released teaser from Netflix. It clearly shows that Indiana, Hawkins is all geared up for a bright and sprightly summer of love. But, things will get darker with each episode in season 3. The monster from the upside-down is sticking around.
Unfortunately, the brilliantly made series will see its end shortly. The makers, Matt and Ross Duffer, do not wish to overstay their welcome as stretching the storyline unnecessarily will put a dent on the show's credibility.
Stranger Things Season 3 is being filmed and will not return until 2019.
