Stranger Things season 2 is going to be more intense, darker and thrilling than the previous season, and fans are looking forward to find out what new elements will be included in the second instalment of the series.
Recent reports have stated that there will be more extraordinary characters in the second season as there have been casting calls for extras. The current filming location of the series is in Atlanta, Georgia.
The casting call is reportedly looking for people who have a 1980s' look and aged between 18 and 70. The details mention that males with long hair and females who are willing to have a haircut are preferred.
One of the protagonists of the series, Millie Bobby Brown, who played the role of Eleven in season 1, talked about getting her head shaved in the show.
I had very long hair and I cut it all off for the part. I read the script and I was so happy with my character and I thought, This is how it's gotta be. My mom and my grandpa were like, 'No, you can't do that.' It took me 12 years - well, 11 years - to grow something. [My hair] wasn't thick, but it was long," Brown said in a recent interview.
"And then they shaved it all off and it was very hard for my parents. But I convinced them. I was like, 'Dude, it grows back. It's fine," she added.
It has been speculated that the casting call is looking for characters who are similar to Eleven so that they can create a group of similar super-powered people in the upcoming season of Stranger Things.
Several rumours also suggest that the evil group of men who were after Eleven will try to get their hands on Will Byers (portrayed by Noah Schnapp in season 1) so that they can turn him into another laboratory project named Twelve.
