The suspense and the surprise elements in forthcoming Tamil movie "Theri" seem to have vanished as the story of the Vijay-starrer has reportedly been leaked online.
A report on Indiaglitz has revealed the secrets of the story. As per the website, Vijay will be seen as a cop in "Theri." Nainika, the daughter of actress Meena, plays the onscreen child of Ilayathalapathy and his wife Samantha.
Vijay's enemies in the movie kill Samantha following which he sends his daughter to some place in North India with Motta Rajendran for her safety. It is only after eliminating all his rivals, he joins his daughter.
According to earlier reports, Amy Jackson will be seen playing the role of a teacher in "Theri." Apparently, the name of Ilayathalapathy's character is Vijay Kumar and Samantha plays the role of a doctor named Mithra.
It was said that Vijay has done triple roles in "Theri," but the latest report denies it and cites that the actor will be seen in only one role. The first look of the Tamil movie had shown Ilayathalapathy in three different looks and this had paved way for the rumours.
Going by the aforementioned story, it appears like "Theri" is a revenge thriller. The report also adds that the Tamil movie's ending hints at the possibility of a sequel.
However, the makers are yet to react over the leak. But, the fans of Ilayathalapathy are not happy with the latest development and they hope the story of Vijay-starrer is different from the one doing the rounds on the internet.
Written and directed by Atlee Kumar, "Theri" is produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu. Mahendran plays the main antagonist's role in the Tamil film, which has KS Ravikumar, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Santhanam, TM Karthik and others in the cast.
Meanwhile, the makers are gearing up for the audio release of "Theri," which will be launched Sunday, March 20, at Sathyam Cinemas.
