Avengers: Endgame is going to mark the end of Marvel's current phase. With the upcoming MCU movie, fans will get to see some of their favorite superheroes for the last time. As per several reports and speculations, actors like Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans will be retiring from their respective characters. If Marvel goes ahead with this, then it will be extremely heartbreaking for every fan.
The recently released teaser trailer of Avengers: Endgame showed how Tony Stark/Iron Man is drifting away in the space and is recording a message for his beloved, Pepper Potts. Meanwhile, Steve Rogers/Captain America was shown sitting with Black Widow at the Avengers headquarters. Recently, a fan has come with a new theory as to how Captain America will possibly die in the upcoming Avengers: Endgame.
In the Avengers: Infinity War, we saw how superheroes like Doctor Steven Strange, Peter Parker, T'Challa, and Groot, got decimated by Thanos. The upcoming MCU movie is said to be the final climax for original six Avengers — Iron Man, Captain America, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Thor, and Hulk. The released teaser did show all these Avengers grieving for their respective losses. A Reddit user, however, has decoded a scene from it when Steve Rogers is shown looking at his locket with his first love Peggy Carter's photo in it.
This particular scene about looking at Peggy's photo is similar to the last scene of Captain America: The First Avenger. During that climax sequence, Steve looks at the photo before crashing his plane to save the world.
The Reddit user went on to explain that, "Each of the original Avengers character arcs is going to be parallel to character arc from their solo movie. I believe we got hints of his very ending. Just like in Captain America: The First Avenger, Steve's going to fly a weird ship (the "Do you think this will work" moment in the trailer) to his doom while looking at the picture of Peggy, but this time, dying for real."
Meanwhile, as per a report, the codename of Avengers 4 was Capstone. The word literally means, "The best and final thing that somebody achieves, thought of as making their career or life complete."
