Under the famed TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, Star Wars fandom is reawakening. The love for the franchise is strong with these fans who are getting in line 10 days early for the advance screening of highly-anticipated film Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Fan Nathan Cluke explained: Well, originally it was out of respect for the Star Wars franchise because it means so much to me. But I came out first for Episode One and I did it again for Episode Two and Episode Three, and now were like family. Were all friends and family and its like a reunion and this is what I do. I couldnt not be here for this.
The 7th instalment of the famed franchise takes place 30 years after Return of the Jedi. As well as new characters Rey and Finn, fans will also see the return of original heroes Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia.
Back in this galaxy, organisers say more than 120 people have already signed up for the queue, which allows people to clock in and out so they can leave for work or the bathroom. The Force Awakens is released in cinemas on 17 December.
