The madness over "Star Wars: Episode VII" is just dying down, but the frenzy for the next episode in the "Star Wars" saga has already begun, especially after it was announced that the principal photography for the upcoming Episode VIII has started. Now, there are speculations about the title for the movie, and the possibility of the introduction of a gay character in the "Star Wars" universe.
A recent report by MoviePilot, based on a Reddit reveal, suggests that the title of the new "Star Wars" movie will be "Tale of the Jedi Temple." Although there is a huge possibility that this is a product of an enthusiastic fan's anticipation, the title does make sense.
As MoviePilot points out, Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) met at an ancient Jedi temple towards the end of Episode VII, "The Force Awakens," and it would be sensible for the plot of Episode VIII to focus on the said Jedi Temple.
The fans, however, do not seem to be too excited about the name. Here are a few reactions from Reddit:
Ritz527: "Legend of the Jedi Temple wouldn't be so bad but Tale is just god awful."
Aufdie87: "The word "tale" is just too.... Disney-ey.... For Star Wars"
Ericargyle: "Agreed. Even if it was something LIKE that then "The Jedi Temple" would flow and be more consistent with previous naming."

Meanwhile, JJ Abrams has teased that Episode VIII may see a gay character, making him or her the first LGBT character in the "Star Wars" universe. "When I talk about inclusivity, it's not excluding gay characters. It's about inclusivity so of course [there will be gay characters]. I would love it," the director of the movie was quoted by the Week.
Abrams further added that it would be "insanely narrow-minded and counterintuitive" for him to say that there wouldn't be a homosexual character in the "Star Wars" universe.
