After a long wait, the fans of "Star Wars" may finally get to know about the whereabouts of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Princess Leia Organa (Carrie Fisher) and Han Solo (Harrison Ford) in "The Force Awakens" through the new trailer, which is scheduled to release in the UK on 11 September.
The official website of British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) revealed a few details about the upcoming sneak peek video. Since the clip is just one-minute-39-second-long, it cannot be considered as a full length trailer.
However, the new trailer of "The Force Awakens" is likely to give away new details about the three iconic characters in the epic space opera. The promotional clip will feature Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Simon Pegg.
The followers of "Star Wars" were already introduced to some of the lead characters in the movie, including scavenger Rey (Daisy Ridley), stormtrooper Finn (John Boyega), Han Solo and Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew). But, they are yet to officially meet Jedi Master Luke Skywalker and his sister Princess Leia.
Through several leaked images of "The Force Awakens", fans have caught a glimpse of the two iconic characters and they may apparently get more details about the cast members through the new trailer.
The admirers of the epic space opera can watch the new sneak peek video on Friday, 11 September.
Meanwhile, a new leaked on-location video of JJ Abrams' upcoming movie was reportedly uploaded on YouTube, which was later removed from the video-sharing website on request. The clip focuses on Rey and Finn talking in their own native languages , according to Making Star Wars.
Another set of leaked images of "Star Wars" toys introduced a few new characters such as an alien X-wing Pilot Asty and Sarco Plank to the viewers, stated Jedi Temple Archives.
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is scheduled to hit screens on 18 December.
