"Star Wars" film franchise will introduce an all new set of characters as next generation fighters in "The Force Awakens". While the fans have already met some, including Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Finn (John Boyega), they are eager to know if any of them will be introduced as a new Jedi.
Director JJ Abrams and his team have already hinted at the preceder of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) through the second trailer of the movie. In the sneak peek video, the Jedi Master can be heard saying, "The force is strong is my family. My father has it. I have it. My sister has it. You have that power too."
So, the followers of the epic space opera series are keen to meet the new member of the force, but the official Twitter page of "Star Wars" in France have hinted at the last Jedi, which is Hamill's character.
The post has a Kylo Ren dialogue, which read: "Together, we will destroy the Resistance and the last Jedi," stated Making Star Wars. Additionally, the leaked synopsis of "The Force Awakens" also stated that the movie revolves around the hooded evil dark lord's quest for Skywalker and his light saber.
However, the fansite -- starwars7news.com -- suggested that Finn could be a Jedi in the upcoming movie. The website claimed that actor John Boyega recently spilled a few details about his character in an interview with the London newspaper, Evening Standard, and the publication described his character as a "Jedi in training".
Meanwhile, a post on reddit suggests an unexpected twist in the film that will surprise the viewers. It stated that Driver's character will lie to the Knights that he is the child of Skywalker and would willingly go with them "as long as they did not harm Rey". But, Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis) will find out the truth and kill the dark lord towards the end of the movie.
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is scheduled to hit the screens on 18 December.
