"Star Wars" film franchise has been hit by yet another major leak with the release of actress Carrie Fisher's photo in Princess Leia's costume in "The Force Awakens". The image provides a clear view of Darth Vader's daughter in the upcoming instalment.
The picture shows her in a greyish blue solid jumpsuit with a black vest below her waist. The actress is also seen wearing black boots and a black hair band. Her hair is tied up and her ponytail visible from her left shoulder.
Fisher's outfit in the leaked photo has many similarities with the description of her character's costume provided by Making Star Wars. It claims that the rolled-up cuffs and "thick black belt with a silver belt-buckle" indicate she could be the queen of Tantive IV troopers.
The website has two images and one of them shows the sketch of Princess Leia's costume drawn by the editor-in-chief Jason Ward. After comparing both the pictures, it can be assumed that the character will be appearing in that outfit.
Although JJ Abrams' and his team are yet to release the official look of Fisher in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", fans may not have to wait long for the franchise to verify the authenticity of the leaked image. The new trailer of the upcoming film is expected to have few shots of the character and it is likely to be unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con 2015, which will be held from 9 to 12 July.
