Another trailer of the third film, titled "Star Trek Beyond," in the rebooted Star Trek universe is out and it showcases an array of landscapes from various universes, while the officials of Starfleet explore the worlds where people are living under their command.
According to Comic Book, without revealing much of the movie's plot, the synopsis of "Star Trek Beyond" reads: "Stranded on a hostile planet, Capt Kirk (Chris Pine), Spock (Zachary Quinto) and the rest of the Enterprise crew face an alien threat."
The trailer mostly emphasises on Chris Pine's character as Kirk, who can be seen in action in almost all the scenes. However, the trailer also provides a closer look at Idris Elba's villainous character.
The story of Kirk's origin and his joining the Starfleet is explored in the trailer as he tries to live up to his father. Bones can be seen telling Kirk, "Now you are wondering just what it means to be you."
A second voiceover, most probably that of Starfleet High Command Shoreh Aghdashloo, can be heard. It talks about the problems of being the first explorers in the vast universe. The rest of the trailer is undoubtedly action-packed and thrilling, with other characters namely Scotty, Bones and some newcomers showcased in the movie.
"Star Trek Beyond" is all set to hit the theatres on July 22, 2016.
