Star Plus honours talented actors every year at the Star Parivaar Awards, and it's no different this time. The nominees' list is out and voting is going on a full swing.
While fans rejoice when their favourite star picks up an award for his/her work, stellar dance performances and acts are the other aspects that make the ceremony more special for the viewers.
To be held at the National Sports Club of India (NSCI) in Mumbai on Sunday, 17 May, the event will witness two of television's popular pairs set the stage on fire.
According to a Tellychakkar report, "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" pair Raman & Ishita (Karan Patel-Divyanka Tripathi) and "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" couple Naitik-Akshara (Karan Mehra-Hina Khan) are to perform on Sunday night.
"With the fans mailing and messaging creatives to include their favourite jodis in the performance list, the team had to convince the actors to perform even though they were not really keen," the web portal quoted a source as saying.
Apparently, Hina and Karan share cold vibes off-screen maintaining a strict professional relationship. They were not too keen on doing a romantic number, but had to give in to fans' demands.
Divyanka, on the other hand, who is recovering from a leg injury, has been given a wheelchair in her act with the "Nach Baliye 7" host.
However, since there has been no official confirmation on the development yet, it can be called a speculation at best.
In other news, Raman and Ishita's stunning acrobatic act last year was loved by all. But it didn't come easy to the actors, who came close to being fatally injured during rehearsals.
