Popular TV show Drama Juniors on Zee Kannada has reached the last stage of its first season. The channel is gearing up for the grand finale, which will be held this weekend.
Zee Kannada has decided to organise the grand finale at Vidyadana Samithi High School grounds in Gadag district, North Karnataka. Achintya, Tushar, Putraju, Amogha, Chitrali, Mahindra, Revathi and Tejaswini are the kids, who have entered the last stage of the TV show hosted by Master Anand.
"Come experience the Grand finale where the ultimate Drama juniors will battle it out for the title on September 25th in Gadag! The entry is free and we hope to see you there! #ZeeKannada #DramaJuniors #GrandFinale. [sic]," Zee Kannada posted on its Facebook page.
Drama Juniors started its airing on 30 April, replacing Ramesh Aravind's popular talk show, Weekend with Ramesh. The audition of the children's show was held in various parts of Karnataka and contestants were selected based on their natural acting ability.
TV personality T N Seetharam, veteran actress Lakshmi and actor Vijay Raghavendran are the judges of Drama Juniors.
The show instantly struck a chord with the family audience and in a span of few weeks topped the TRP ratings among many reality shows in Kannada. This paved the way for many rival channels of Zee Kannada to come up with similar shows.
Also, the show has been adopted by Zee TV's other brands Zee Tamil (Junior Superstars in Tamil), and Zee Telugu (Drama Juniors in Telugu).
