The much talked about wedding ceremony of South Korean celebrities Bae Yong Joon and Park Soo Jin captured the attention of the public after one of the staff members apologised to the celebrities for uploading their private moments on social media.
The leaked video of the newlywed stars shows them engaging in a couple's dance. It reportedly received several criticisms from various corners of the South Korean entertainment industry.
Producer-cum-musician JY Park was among those who expressed their disagreement in making the private moments of the couple public.
"The private video of my friend Bae Yong Joon and his wife Park Soo Jin has been posted illegally and has been going viral. Instead of thinking about the couple who may be going through a hard time during their honeymoon, people are focusing on spreading the video and discussing it. The scene of the video consists of them carrying on with their 'penalty' to the song I sang at their wedding ceremony. This video really consists of private situations and behaviors that can only be seen between close friends. When did leaking private footage and spreading it not become a big issue? I am really angry," he wrote, according to Koreaboo.
Immediately after the producer posted his opinion on Twitter, he received an apology from the uploader stating that it was his mistake to take the video without prior consent and post it on the Internet.
"Bae Yong Joon-nim, Park Jin Young-nim, I'm sorry. I was the one responsible for the beverages on the day of the wedding. It was really rough for me to figure out how to apologise. I wanted to express my sincere apologies through here. During the wedding, they seemed so happy. And the wedding party was like from a movie, it was fun and looked so happy. I took the video without prior consent. For the trouble and pain that my leaked video of the wedding has caused, I sincerely apologise. I'm really sorry," he tweeted.
Bae Yong Joon and Park Soo Jin shared wedding vows on 27 July.
