"Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" actress Divyanka Tripathi and Ssharad Malhotra's steady eight-year-long relationship came to a sudden end last year. And not-so-surprisingly, the two have been linked with their co-stars Vivek Dahiya and Rachna Parulkar, respectively, ever since.
Although the leading lady put an end to these rumours saying Dahiya was just a friend with whom she gets along really well on the sets, a spotboye report suggested the rumoured couple is all set to tie the knot. What's interesting to note is ex-flame Ssharad has an intriguing response to the news.
"I heard she's happy. I wish her all the best. I will always wish the best for her," he told Hindustan Times, adding they have been on good terms forever. "If we happen to bump into each other at a party, social gathering or at any media event, I will definitely go and wish her or probably exchange pleasantries," he said.
Sure, both have moved on and are comfortable with the kind of lives they have been leading, but the breakup impacted them massively. Soon after they parted ways, Divyanka revealed some bitter and lesser-known facts about their relationship and how it went from bad to worse. Ssharad, in his quick chat with HT, acknowledged his ex-girlfriend's anger but felt it could have been avoided.
"It's a personal thing. Maybe she wanted to vent. But when two people are in a relationship, they have their own private moments. And, if for some reason things don't work out, you can't just go around and speak your heart out to anybody and everybody," he told the daily.
