Television actor Ssharad Malhotra, who is currently seen as Rishi on highly popular show Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki, is excited for the release of his film 1:13:7 Ek Tera Saath on Friday, October 21.
In an interview with India Forums, the actor, who had also been a part of Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza lately but had to quit to due to his hectic shooting schedule and film promotion, said that quiting the comedy show was a tough decision.
"I have been doing two shows simultaneously where initially, I thought it can be managed. However, I realized that I am doing a daily soap which is male centric show and needs a lot of hours. At the same time, I have my film coming up and have been busy with promotions and other things. Hence, I had to take this decision," he said.
Sharing his experience on the comedy show, Ssharad said: "It has been a lot of fun. It is something so challenging and I will cherish every bit of it. Doing a daily soap in front of a camera and putting up a stage performance in front of 100 plus people are two completely different things and I am glad to have experienced them both. While trying to strike a balance, the erratic working hours started taking a toll on my health too. Hence, it was a tough decision but I had to quit."
According to reports, 1:13:7 Ek Tera Saath will see Ssharad as Kunwar Aditya Pratap Singh, who is a charming Prince of Ghaneraon, in Rajasthan. He has been paired opposite Hridu Dudani, who rose to fame with the daily soap Bandini. Other actors in the cast of the movie include Melanie Nazareth, Deepraj Rana and Vishwajeet Pradhan.
Ek Tera Saath is not the first Bollywood film of Ssharad. The actor had made his Bollywood debut with From Sydney With Love (2012), which failed to get much appreciation.
