Thousands of applicants seeking various government jobs will take the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 examination later this month. Those who have applied for the examinations must have their admit cards with them before appearing for the exams. Staff Selection Commission of India has released the admit card of SSC CGL Tier 1 2016 examinations and here's how to get it.
SSC CGL Tier 1 admit card is now available for download from the official SSC website. Initially the dates for the SSC CGL exams were between May 8 and 22, but they have been rescheduled to Aug. 27 to Sept. 4 and Sept. 6 to Sept. 11, 2016.
How to download SSC CGL Tier 1 Admit Card 2016?
Step 1. Go to the official Staff Selection Commission regional website (Links to all regions are available at the end of this article).
Step 2. Click on Download Admit Card on the left hand panel.
Step 3. Click "Download e-Admit Card" under Combined Graduate Level Examination 2016.
Step 4. Enter your Registration ID/ Roll number as per the online registration form.
Step 5. Answer the simple mathematical calculation and click "Next".
Step 6. The Admit Card will then appear on the screen, click to download.
Step 7. Take print outs of the downloaded Admit Card and keep them safely till the exams.
The SSC CGL Tier I Admit Card available for download is for the first exam from Aug. 27 to Sept. 4, 2016. The Admit Card for Sept. 6 to Sept. 11 exam will be available for download from the official SSC website from Aug. 27, 2016, D24 News reported.
There are 9 regions of Staff Selection Commission and admit card are available at the official SSC regional website. Candidates are advised to carefully download the Admit Card as per their region by clicking on the corresponding links below:

After downloading the Admit Card for the specific region, candidates must remember to carry the following documents to the exam hall in addition to the admit card. Without all the necessary documents, candidates will not be admitted in the examination venue and the candidature could be cancelled.
- Two copies of latest coloured photograph (3cm x 3.5cm).
- At least one original photo identity with clear photograph (AADHAR card, driving licence, Voter ID, College ID, Pan Card).
- Photo copy of the identity proof.
