Baahubali director SS Rajamouli is rumoured to have cast actress Anu Emmanuel to play the female lead opposite young tiger Jr NTR and mega power star Ram Charan in his next movie.
Post Baahubali 2 release, SS Rajamouli is yet to make an official announcement about his next film. Recently, the director tweeted a photo featuring him with Jr NTR and Ram Charan following which several rumours are doing the rounds about his forthcoming movie.
It was rumoured that unlike his recent films, SS Rajamouli's next flick is going to be a sports drama and Jr NTR and Ram Charan will play boxers in it. The director is currently busy with scripting and other pre-production works and its regular shooting is expected to start from October 2018.
The latest buzz in the media is that Malayalam beauty Anu Emmanuel has been roped in for the movie, which is said to have two female leads. But it is not clear on whether she will romance Jr NTR or Ram Charan in the film.
Anu Emmanuel made her acting debut with Malayalam film Swapna Sanchari in 2011 and she starred in Action Hero Biju. She forayed into Tollywood with Nani's 2016 film Majnu. Her performance won her SIIMA Award for Best Debutant Female in Telugu. Following this, she was flooded with several offers in Telugu. She was seen playing female lead in Kittu Unnadu Jagratha and Oxygen in 2017.
This Mallu lass is going places as her kitty is full of big-ticket Tollywood projects. She has signed to star alongside Pawan Kalyan in Agnyaathavaasi and Allu Arjun in Naa Peru Surya, Ram Charan in Boyapati Srinu's film and Naga Chaitanya in Sailaja Reddy Alludu. If the news about Rajamouli casting comes true, she is sure to become one of the most sought after actress in the Telugu film industry.
