SS Rajamouli's blockbuster franchise Baahubali came to an end with the release of Baahubali 2 (Baahubali: The Conclusion), which made history in the Indian film industry and created waves across the globe.`
While fans may be disappointed with the end of the films, director Rajamouli has planned to adapt the astounding story of Baahubali to the small screen soon.
However, unlike other TV serials, the Baahubali series will not be made in the format of daily soaps, Indian Express reported. It will be a seasonal series with 10-15 episodes and will give the viewers a film-like experience. Interestingly, the success of Baahubali: The Conclusion has not stopped the director to work on making the TV series. He has already started the vital ground work.
The TV series is likely to be filmed on the sets of Baahubali at Ramoji Rao studios in Hyderabad and will be made in multiple languages just like the films.
Not just TV series, the makers plan to build a chain of theme parks across the country in cities like Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata. Interestingly, the parks will be on par with Disneyland. Books, virtual reality films and games on Baahubali are also been planned.
Meanwhile, everyone from the industry as well as the audience has been lauding Baahubali 2 for its plot, mind-blowing visuals and performances.
The multi-lingual movie set a new record by collecting a whopping Rs 121 crore at the domestic market on the opening day itself. The Hindi version alone made over Rs 40 crore thereby breaking Aamir Khan's Dangal's opening-day record.
