SS Rajamouli, Rakul Preet Singh, Ali celebrate their birthdays on Ayudh Pooja

Director SS Rajamouli, actress Rakul Preet Singh and comedian Ali are celebrating their birthdays today, on Ayudh Pooja day. They have been flooded with wishes on social media.

SS Rajamouli was born in in Raichur, Karnataka, on October 10 1973 and he turns 43 today. Having started his career on the small screen, he made his debut in films as a director with Junior NTR's Student No 1 in 2001. The movie became a super hit at the box office cementing his name in the film industry. He has churned out 10 blockbuster films in 15 years.

The director has amassed numerous fans in several foreign countries with his brilliant work in Magadheera, Eega and Baahubali: The Beginning, which have entered the list of the Indian classics. The whole world is waiting for the release of his next venture Baahubali: The Conclusion as everyone wants to know why Kattappa killed Baahubali.

Rakul Preet Singh was born in a Punjabi family in New Delhi on October 10 1990 and she turns 26 today. She started her acting career with Kannada film Gilli in 2009 and forayed into Telugu with Keratam in 2011. She has featured in over 15 movies in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada movies in seven years. Having starred with superstar Ram Charan, Junior NTR, Allu Arjun and Ravi Teja, she is one of the most sought after actresses down south today.

Ali was born in a poor family in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, on October 10 1968 and he turns 48 today. He started his career as a child artiste with Nindu Noorellu in 1979 and he turned into a comedian with Punya Sthree in 1986. He also played the lead role in some movies. He has featured in nearly 200 movies in his career spanning over three decades. He is one of the most popular comedians in Tollywood today.
