Ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli, who is currently busy shooting for his magnum opus "Baahubali", has slammed the reports that he would make a movie based on the Kannada novel "Parva". The director says he has not planned is next movie.
SS Rajamouli is one of the most successful filmmakers of India and many Telugu audiences are eagerly waiting to know about his next project after "Baahubali". Ever since he launched "Baahubali", several speculations have been made about his next movie and the hero and heroine of the film. The director has been keep on clearing the rumours all these days that he is yet decide on his next project.
Recently, it was rumoured that SS Rajamouli evinced his interest to do a film based on renowned writer Dr. SL Bhyrappa's Kannada novel "Parva". On October 5, he took to his Twitter page to rubbish the rumours. "News regarding me making a movie based on a Kannada novel are not true.. Haven't planned ANYTHING after #Baahubali, as of yet," wrote the filmmaker.
Rajamouli's upcoming directorial venture "Baahubali" is an epic Telugu film, which will also be dubbed in Malayalam, Hindi and in several foreign languages. The movie, which is released in two parts, stars an ensemble cast of Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, Nassar, Adivi Sesh, Tanikella Bharani and Sudeep in crucial roles.
The film is presented by K Raghavendra Rao and produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under banner Arka Media Works. MM Keeravani is composing the soundtracks for the film. KK Senthil Kumar handles the cinematography. National Award winner Sabu Cyril is the art director for the film and he has recently created a 100 foot statue for "Baahubali".
Talking about state, Rajamouli tweeted, "Sabucyril made a 100 foot statue4 #Baahubali. Getting this giant in2 position was a humongous job which requires a gr8 deal of knowledge in structural engineering. It was achieved by peter hein who didn't attend even primary school. He worked for 40hrs non stop. And the real test starts tomorrow. We need to get into a standing position. Btw the statue has got nothing to do with Gomateshwara..:)"
