The curiosity around SS Rajamouli's next movie has reached its peak following the massive success of his latest movie Baahubali 2. With the director opting to remain silent about his future flick, there are numerous gossips doing rounds on social media. Now, there is some confirmation about his upcoming films.
Well, SS Rajamouli has agreed to do a film for producer DVV Danayya, reports Deccan Chronicle. The director is said to have chosen a socially-relevant subject for the movie for which the cast and crew are yet to be finalised. However, a section of websites have reported that Allu Arjun is likely to play a key role although it is not clear whether the Arya star will be the main hero.
The interesting part of the story is that SS Rajamouli is going to collaborate with Mahesh Babu. Yes, he will be doing a film for producer KL Narayana, whose project has been pending for a long time. However, this flick will take off once the Baahubali creator wraps up DVV Danayya-produced film.
On the other hand, Rajamouli's dream project on Mahabharatha is not happening any time soon. "Making Mahabharata is my ambition. But, it will take at least 10 years for me to gain the experience and technology that will allow me to bring my vision of that story on the big screen," he had said.
Interestingly, Rajamouli has kept the possibility of Baahubali 3 alive by claiming in London that it would happen if his father KV Vijayendra Prasad, the writer of the Baahubali series, comes up with "a compelling story."
