Srinivasa Kalyanam review: '140-minute-long wedding video without twists and turns'

The much-awaited Srinivasa Kalyanam starring Nithiin and Raashi Khanna has received a negative response from viewers who are calling it 'preachy and boring'. The director Satish Vegesna has also been criticised for making a movie that looks like a person's wedding video.

Satish had won millions of hearts with his family entertainer Sathamanam Bhavati. After seeing its promos, many viewers felt that they would get to see another promising family drama in the form of Srinivasa Kalyanam. However, the director has disappointed some of them as his movie failed to strike a chord with them. After watching it, some fans even took to Twitter to blast him.

Srinivasa Kalyanam, that was supposedly a routine story on weddings, failed to include some interesting conflicts that could have given a twist to its narration. This has made the movie quite slow-paced and at times even a drag. The movie often gets preachy about the sanctity of marriage.
