The trade reports say that after having a decent week, the turn out for Mahesh Babu's flick was good during the weekend. Saturday and Sunday shows received good response from the audience in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and some centres overseas.
However, "Srimanthudu" has performed well despite "Kick 2" starring Ravi Teja hitting the screens. The Telugu film is written and directed by Koratala Siva. Shruti Haasan plays the female lead in the flick, which also features Jagapathi Babu and Sukanya.
The Mahesh Babu starrer has been facing competition from non-Telugu films too since the last few weeks. Bollywood films "Brothers" and "Drishyam", Tamil film "Vaalu" and Kannada movie "Uppi 2" have clashed with "Srimanthudu" in different territories and performed well.
"Srimanthudu" has also earned good profits for the producer through satellite, audio and dubbing rights. The makers have earned at least Rs. 21 crore by selling different rights including the Hindi and Tamil dubbed rights.
