Mahesh Babu and Shruti Haasan seem to have taken a break from promoting "Srimanthudu", with Babu busy with 'Hyderabad Marathon' and Haasan launching her production house Isidro.
Superstar Mahesh Babu was first seen with actress Shruti Haasan in the item song of his last release "Aagadu". He will be seen romancing the 29-year-old in his latest outing "Srimanthudu", which will be released in theatres worldwide on 7 August. The duo, which was busy promoting the film for the last few days, has taken a break.
Mahesh Babu is the brand ambassador of Airtel Hyderabad Marathon (AHM) 2015. On 4 August, the "Srimanthudu" actor invited his Twitter fans for the marathon, which will be held on 30 August.
The actor tweeted: "Log off. Shut down. Run. Join thousands and participate in the Hyderabad marathon on the 30th of August. You don't have to be great to start but have to start to be great. Last date to register - 16th of August, 2015 #ahm2015."
Versatile Shruti Haasan is an actress, singer and musician. The star launched her production house, Isidro. On Wednesday, she tweeted, "Proud to say my dream is coming true :) ISIDRO."
Isidro will focus on digital content, short films and musicals. "Digital and shorts aren't just a trend for us. That's the direction we're headed. We will begin with shorts and animation and expand our horizons as we progress," Shruti Haasan told The Times of India.
Shruti Haasan will be Mahesh Babu's love interest in "Srimanthudu". Written and directed by Koratala Siva, the film is about a businessman who does not want to follow his father's footsteps and carves out a niche for himself. With the film set to release tomorrow, it should be seen whether the Mahesh-Shruti chemistry impresses movie buffs.
