"Baahubali' is reportedly the biggest movie ever produced in India. The movie is set to release in 4,000 screens worldwide and almost all films are paving the way for the release of this movie.
The much-awaited Mahesh Babu starrer, "Srimanthudu', has also postponed its release date from 17 July to 7 August so as to not clash with "Baahubali". Though this had upset Mahesh Babu fans, the superstar feels the magnum opus movie, "Baahubali", deserves a solo release.
At a recent event, Mahesh Babu said that everybody should be happy about "Baahubali".
"All of us should be proud of 'Baahubali'. We should pray that the film turns out to be a blockbuster as its success is very important for our industry. We didn't postpone our film because we were scared to compete with 'Baahubali'. I think it deserves to a solo release and we should respect it. It's healthy to have two or three weeks' gap between big releases," Mahesh Babu told IANS.
"Srimanthudu", written and directed by Koratala Siva, is a complete action-packed entertainer. The movie also stars Shruti Haasan, Brahmanandam, Jagapati Babu, Sukanya, Rajendra Prasad, Sivaji Raja, Aamani, Angana Roy, Sanam Shetty and Samapath Raj.
Meanwhile, "Baahubali" will now lock horns with Bollywood movie "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", starring Salman Khan, on 17 July.
