"Srimanthudu", which was released on 7 August, has completed a successful 100-day run in 15 theatres. Mahesh Babu will choose the lucky winner of his Cannondale bicycle on this occasion.
Despite clashing with some big-ticket releases, "Srimanthudu" completed a successful run in 99 cinema halls across the globe. Now, the Mahesh Babu and Shruti Haasan starrer has crossed another benchmark -- successful 100-day run in 15 screens.
In October, the makers of "Srimanthudu" had launched a charity sale of movie apparels in association with Livastar. Mahesh Babu's fans were asked to donate Rs 999 for the cause to be a 'Srimanthudu' in their own way. All the participants got a complimentary gift -- a T-shirt with Prince's autograph. But, the makers are yet to announce the lucky winner of the Cannondale bicycle worth Rs 3.5 lakh used in the movie.

The reports suggest that the makers have planned to choose the lucky winner on the eve of the completion of 100 days. Mahesh Babu is currently busy shooting for his upcoming movie "Brahmotsavam" in Ramoji Film City. The Superstar will pick one lucky winner on the sets of the film and the Cannondale bicycle will be handed over to the winner on 16 November.
"Srimanthudu" marks the debut of Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Yalamanchali and CV Mohan's Mythri Movie Makers. Interestingly, Mahesh Babu has turned a producer with this movie, which has become a blockbuster. The producers are all thrilled over the huge success of their maiden production.
Written and directed by Koratala Siva of the "Mirchi" fame, "Srimanthudu" has grossed over Rs 150 crore at the worldwide box office. The movie has reportedly fetched Rs 85 crore to its distributors. The movie had a world TV premiere on Zee Telugu on 8 November and it has received fantastic response from the audience.
