Sridevi's untimely death has left her daughters inconsolable, especially Janhvi Kapoor. The elder daughter of Sridevi is going to make her Bollywood debut and her mother will not be by her side.
Unfortunately, Janhvi didn't even get a chance to meet her, while youngest daughter Khushi was with her mom at the wedding of Mohit Marwah.
Post Sridevi's demise, Janhvi's on-screen mother Shalini Kapoor is really worried about the Dhadak actress. She explained the bond between Janhvi and Sridevi.
Shalini told IANS, "I'm saddened by the news of the untimely demise of my idol Sridevi. She will always be remembered for her diverse roles and memorable performances. My thoughts are with her family and admirers. But I'm more worried about her daughters."
"I am playing mom to her elder daughter Janhvi. I have learned about the love between her and Sridevi. That really can't be described in words. My heart goes out to her. May Srideviji's soul rest in peace."
Sridevi and Janhvi were quite close and that could be seen in their pictures, clicked at various public events, holidays or family functions. The late actress was a protective mom and helped her daughter prepare for the big Bollywood debut.
Meanwhile, Janhvi and her family are waiting for Sridevi's mortal remains to arrive in Mumbai. The reason for her death was reported to be accidental drowning in a bathtub.
