Sridevi's daughter Jhanvi Kapoor has apparently made her relationship with Shikhar Pahariya official. The star kid has been spotted with her boyfriend in the company of her parents.
Jhanvi appeared at the special screening of Dear Zindagi along with Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, while Shikhar sat just beside her in the same car. It suggests that Sridevi's daughter is very much in the relationship with the young lad and with her family's consent.
Earlier, there was a buzz that Sridevi had strictly told Jhanvi to cut off ties with her boyfriend and focus only on her career. It was reported that Sridevi's diktat includes a no-boyfriend clause for Jhanvi. However, she being spotted with Shikhar in the presence of her parents prove that the rumours were not true.
Jhanvi was in news sometime back when her and Shikhar's kissing pictures had gone viral on social media. The duo was seen lip-locking at a party. The pictures had got much attention, following which rumours came up that Sridevi wants her daughter to remain single. Shikhar happens to be the grandson of former Union minister Sushil Kumar Shinde. Jhanvi is all set to make her Bollywood debut in a Karan Johar film soon. Although her debut movie has not been confirmed, most probably she will play the female lead in the Hindi remake of Sairat.
"Yes, Karan has been talking to us about a film for Jhanvi and we have given consent. But we don't know which project it would be. Since Karan has recently acquired the remake rights of Sairat, it is being presumed that our daughter would be launched in this project," Boney Kapoor had confirmed to DNA.
