Actress Sri Reddy has slammed reports that she was arrested in a case of prostitution and blackmailing celebrities. The controversial queen has cursed the rumour-mongers spreading fake news.
It was reported that social activist Varahi had filed a case against Sri Reddy. In her complaint, she reportedly claimed that Sri Reddy is making allegations without any evidence. It was said that her motive was to tarnish the image of celebs and blackmail them for money.
The complainant also claimed that Sri Reddy had accepted of sharing the bed with many and it amounts to prostitution. Hence, she can be arrested for it, according to a report.
This report fueled speculations that Sri Reddy was arrested under charges of prostitution and blackmailing celebrities. But the actress, who was upset with the false news, took to Facebook on Tuesday to refute the rumours. She wrote, "I dnw what master plan they are doing making me confuse..I wl wait.. Social piss YouTube channel RIP.. am I arrested??thu ..fake fellows fake news."
Sri Reddy once again took Facebook on Wednesday to curse the rumour-mongers. She wrote, "Who ever spreading the rumours that I am arrested,that person is a prostitute..u wl get arrested in same case, it's my curse..i didnt do prostitution..u r a prostitute bcz u r trying to get money on a girl,and creating rumors for money..prostitute is far ,far,far better..u r such an insects in shit#RIP few youtubechannels.."
Sri Reddy has been protest against casting couch and sexual exploitation in the film industry. Her fight has received lot of support from people especially from girls. Some of them, who are upset with rumours about her arrest, sent messages to her, condemning the rumour mongers.
A fan wrote to her, "TODAY Sri, I read about the case booked on you. Who is this joker attacking you? Does he have any brain? First he says that you made baseless allegations about sleeping with directors and heroes, which means you didn't sleep with them. Later he says you are a prostitute. How can one not sleep with anyone and be a prostitute at the same time? If he wants to put a case on you for prostitution, he should first put case in the men for seeking prostitution. Sex has to involve both man and woman, kada. How can he not put cases on men, who are the real criminals in the prostitution cases? If metoo victims are called prostitutes and cases are filed against them, such acts make India the most unsafe country in the world or at least give that perception to researchers.
