A complaint against controversial actress Sri Reddy, who is in Chennai to expose casting couch and sexual exploitation in Kollywood, has been filed with the City Police Commissioner on charges of prostitution and extortion of money.
A member of the Indian Makkal Mandram (IMM) has stated in the complaint that her acts are a disgrace to the society and against the Indian culture. "Sri Reddy has been operating in a way which causes shame, bad image not only to the Indian culture but also to the nation's womenfolk. She herself has accepted the fact that she slept with directors and actors for roles in movies," Indiaglitz quoted the person as saying in the complaint.
Sri Reddy has become a hot topic in South Indian film industries ever since she went on a spree making allegations against Telugu celebrities. She has named Abhiram Daggubati, son of leading Tollywood producer Suresh Babu, singer Sriram Chandra, Nani and many others in the cast.
After creating an uproar in Tollywood, the actress is now targeting Kollywood. She has made sexual exploitation allegations on AR Murugadoss, Raghava Lawrence and Srikanth.
The actress is meeting the Chennai press on Monday, July 23. She is expected to reveal many other names.
