Sri Lanka cricket legend and chief selector Sanath Jayasuriya has reportedly leaked his sex tape with ex-wife Maleeka Sirisenage, who is an actress and air hostess, in what appears to be a case of revenge porn.
The alleged sex tape landed Jayasuriya in a controversy and it might cost him his position as the chief selector. According to reports, Jayasuriya might resign after the ongoing Champions Trophy, as the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) might not extend his contract.

"Recently his private life video was leaked to the media and it is very bad public perception and we don't want him to continue as a selector. He has disgraced the game and the nation," one of the SLC officials told Deccan Chronicle.
Another official confirmed to DC that he might not return as the selector after Champions Trophy. "It is quite possible that Jayasuriya may not be our selector post the Champions Trophy. We have not sent him to England for the Champions Trophy and he will not be sent there at the cost of SLC board."
The alleged video features Jayasuriya and his ex-wife. However, it is still not verified whether the video was leaked by Jayasuriya to seek revenge from his ex-wife. Maleeka, who made her acting debut with movie Super Six (2017), and Jayasuriya got married in 2012.
Meanwhile, Jayasuriya is not the first cricketer to get involved in such a controversy. Aussie legend Shane Warne, Kevin 'KP' Pietersen, Mike Gatting, New Zealand fast bowler Daryl Tuffey, Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Akram and Saqlain Mushtaq among others were involved in sex scandals.
