Surprising many, young Malayalam actor Sreenath Bhasi entered wedlock with Reethu Zacharia in Kochi on Friday, December 9. The grand fairytale private ceremony took place at Bolgatty Palace in Kochi in the presence of close friends and family of the couple.
It was followed by a reception and a few celebrities, including Sekhar Menon, Sreenivasan, Saiju Kurup, Rima Kallingal, Aashiq Abu and Kavitha Nair, were also spotted at the function. Aju Varghese, who has worked with Sreenath, has wished the couple on their wedding via his social media page. "Congrats my dear brother Bhasi boy and Reethu'sGod bless you both ❤️[sic]," reads the Facebook post of the comedian.

Reethu, a graduate in mass communication, hails from Thiruvanathapuram and is said to be Sreenath's longtime girlfriend. Meanwhile, Sreenath, who started his career as a radio jockey has hosted a few shows before foraying into the entertainment industry. The actor-turned-singer has been tagged as one of the new generation actors in Malayalam, thanks to his style and type of characters he has portrayed in various movies.
Sreenath, who made his acting debut in the Mohanlal-starrer Pranayam, has shared screenspace with young stars Dulquer Salmaan, Nivin Pauly and Asif Ali, among many others. Some of the notable projects of the new gen actor include Ustad Hotel, Jacobinte Swargarajyam, Da Thadiya, Honey Bee, KL 10 and he was last seen in Khalid Rahman's family entertainer Anuraga Karikkin Vellam. He has the sequel of Jean Paul Lal's directorial venture Honey Bee lined up for release in 2017.
