She makes it look so effortless in her videos but YouTube vlogger Sprinkle Of Glitter admits juggling her incredibly successful career with motherhood can be challenging at times.

The 30-year-old, who has almost three million subscribers combined on both of her YouTube channels, is the proud mother of four-year-old daughter Darcy, who often makes appearances in Pentlands vlogs and is affectionately known as Baby Glitter.

In addition to being a mother, Pentland balances creating YouTube videos and regularly travelling from her home in Northampton to London for work appointments.

The IBTimes UK caught up with Pentland at Londons Sanderson Hotel ahead of the release of her debut book Life With A Sprinkle Of Glitter.

When asked how she finds the time to fit everything in, the content creator admitted: With great difficulty, actually. I spend a great deal of time worrying that Im not juggling it well enough.

I want to take all these opportunities while theyre here because I know they might not be here in the future but also I know my daughter wont be little again in the future.

Pentland revealed that she is often forced to turn work away in order to prioritise her young daughter but is thankful for Darcys father pitching in to help.

She continued: I just have to try and find a really happy balance. I say no to a lot of work things because I would rather spend my days with her.

Its handy because shes got a really great dad and hes so involved. He has her for half the week and is fantastic with her.

Life With A Sprinkle Of Glitter features four chapters offering advice and anecdotes on a range of lifestyle topics including love, relationships and DIY.

A number of other YouTube vloggers have been criticised in the past for using ghostwriters to pen their publications but Pentland is proud to say she personally wrote her first book.

Addressing the criticism other YouTubers have received, the vlogger explained: It was important to me because I felt like I wanted to put so much personality into this book.

Ive seen a lot of criticism other people have had for having editorial consultants, and I think each to their own. Theyre very different books so Im happy with how it went for this one.

Life With A Sprinkle Of Glitter is out now and currently number one on Amazons cultural bestsellers list.
