S Mobility has rolled out its first quad core processor based dual-sim 3G smartphone Stellar Pinnacle Pro Mi-535 into India's burgeoning handset market.
The smartphone will make its way to retail stores in the last week of April and will be priced ₹14,990. Online retailer Saholic has started accepting preorders of the phone. The device, a successor to the Stellar Pinnacle Mi, sports a 5.3-inch qHD IPS display and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. It houses 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD.
"The new Stellar Pinnacle Pro Mi 535 is backed by whole new software integration that promises unparalleled user experience. Pinnacle Pro is an enhancement of our Stellar Pinnacle Mi 530. Stellar Pinnacle received tremendous response from the consumers since its launch in January this year," said T M Ramakrishnan, CEO - Devices, S Mobility.
On the camera front, Stellar Pinnacle Pro Mi-535 features an 8-megapixel rear auto focus camera and a 5-megapixel front auto focus camera. It also features USB OTG, Pop-up play; Flip to Mute, Intelligent Answer, Direct Call, Gesture Screen Lock, Hi Connect, Boot Acceleration and Power Saving Mode. It packs a 2,550mAh Li-ion battery. Its connectivity features include Wi-Fi, 3G/HSPA, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
"We have set a new benchmark in the industry by adding a 5MP front camera with Wide Angle View, enabling group video chats. The 1.2 GHz Quad core processor coupled with the latest android platform Jelly bean 4.2 in Pinnacle Pro will give an enhanced user experience.
