Spice Mobiles has added another budget smartphone to its existing Stellar series. Named Stellar 518, the latest smartphone offers 3G connectivity and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS.
The Stellar 518 boasts a 5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 480x854 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core 1.3GHz processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB inbuilt storage. The budget smartphone storage can also be expanded up to 32GB using micro SD card.
On the camera specification, the Stellar 518 flaunts an 8MP auto-focus enabled sensor for the rear and a 1.3MP camera for front. But the biggest feature of the smartphone is its huge 4,000 mAh Li-Polymer battery.
By featuring this, Spice Stellar 518 would be the first smartphone under ₹5,000 to flaunt such a huge battery. In comparison, the Micromax Canvas Spark features a 2,000 battery, Moto E 1st generation features a 1980mAh battery, Huawei Honor Bee features a 2550 battery and Infocus M2 packs a 2010mAh battery.
For selling the device, Spice has tied up with e-commerce brand Home Shop Network18 for exclusive selling right across India. The smartphone will be available for sale starting today for ₹4,999.
