Exciting time awaits Sony fans, as the company is expected to unveil an array of products, including the much-hyped devices - Xperia Z4 and Xperia Z4 Ultra - in the next few months.
Sony is expected to unveil the Xperia Z4, Xperia Z4 Ultra and a few mid-range Xperia phones and tablets at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show 2015 (CES 2015) on 5 January at Las Vegas. There were also reports that the Japanese electronics giant might announce its flagship devices at the Mobile World Conference 2015 (MWC 2015) to be held in the first week of March.
The release date of the Xperia Z4 and Xperia Z4 Ultra is not confirmed but it is very likely to see the light of the day at the CES 2015, as Sony has scheduled a conference at the event.
The Sony Xperia Z3 received acclaims from reviewers and gadget lovers alike and it's a big success but its successor, the Xperia Z4, is expected to be a much superior device with several feature upgrades.
Here are five major feature upgrades the Xperia Z4 is expected to have over the Xperia Z3:
1) Display: According the several reports that have surfaced so far, the Sony Xperia Z4 will sport either a 5.4-inch Quad HD Triluminos display or a 5.5-inch screen as against 5.2-inch screen of its predecessor, the Xperia Z3.
2) Processor: There is conflicting reports on the processor of the Sony Xperia Z4 with some claiming that it would be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 while some said that it would be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810. The Xperia Z3 on the other hand is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801.
3) Memory: The Xperia Z3 has 16/32 GB internal memory, 3GB RAM and microSD up to 128 GB but its successor is expected to come with 32GB internal memory, 4GB RAM and without microSD card slot.
4) Battery: The Sony Xperia Z4 is expected to house a 3420 mAh battery compared to Li-Ion 3100 mAh battery seen in its predecessor.
5) Qi Wireless Charging: According to a report by Android Headlines (via Stiri Telefoane), the Sony Xperia Z4 will come with Qi wireless charging feature.
