Sony will look up to its flagship smartphone, the Xperia Z4 to boost its business, as its predecessor Xperia Z3 and other devices failed to improve its profit margin despite receiving critical acclaims.
Now, expectations on the upcoming next-generation device are sky-high. It will be unveiled on the first day of Mobile World Congress 2015 (MWC 2015) and launched a few days later. The MWC 2015 will kick off on 2 March, in Barcelona.
All eyes will be on the Xperia Z4 with Sony expressing its aim to increase its operating profit 25-fold in three years by concentrating more on camera sensors and PlayStation units. It also didn't rule out the possibility of stopping TV and mobile phone units.
It is reported that Sony won't have a formal press conference or live streaming of the Xperia Z4 but that doesn't mean it will be any lesser. It is expected to come with several feature upgrades over its predecessor.
