The Sony Xperia Z4 is expected to be announced at the upcoming Mobile World Conference 2015 (MWC 2015) to be held in Barcelona, and the latest report suggests that it is not the only product the Japanese electronics giant is planning to unveil. The Xperia E1 II is also expected to come along with the flagship smartphone the Xperia Z4 at the event.
Sony is very likely to unveil its next-generation device, the Xperia Z4 at the MWC 2015, which is starting on 2 March, before releasing it a little later. It is also likely to announce the Xperia E1 II, the successor of entry level smartphone Xperia E1 that was released last year.
The Sony Xperia Z4 is expected to sport a 5.2-inch 1440 x 2560px Triluminos display, powered by a Snapdragon 810 processor, run on Android 5.0 Lollipop, and house a 20.7MP camera, and 3,400mAh battery, according to a report by GSMArena.
It was earlier reported that the device might come with features like a 5.4-inch or 5.5-inch screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, Android 5.0 Lollipop, 32GB internal memory and 4GB RAM, 20.7MP main camera and 4.8MP front snapper, 3,420 mAh battery, and Qi Wireless Charging.
However, Tech Radar reported that the flagship smartphone might come with a 4.7-inch screen with other features like IP68 water and dust proof certification, and LTE Cat 9 connectivity.
On the other hand, the Xperia E1 II is expected to sport a 4-inch screen with 540 x 960 pixel, powered by a quad-core 1.3GHz processor and run on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, according to a report by GSMArena (via HousePhone). It is also expected to house a 5MP main camera and 2MP front snapper and come packed with 8GB internal memory and 1GB RAM.
