Sony Xperia Z1s aka Xperia Z1 Mini International Variant Snapshots Leak Again; May Run on Android v4.3 Jelly Bean

Sony's rumoured smartphone Xperia Z1s aka Xperia Z1 Mini global variant snapshots have again surfaced online revealing some key specifications.

Russian technology blog, MobilTelefon has posted a series of purported pictures of the Xperia Z1s (codename: D5503). In one of the images, the setting options of the rumoured phone shows Android v4.3 Jelly Bean as the primary OS.

To further add weight to the speculated Xperia Z1s' existence, the phone is placed beside a scale and a coin (Russian denomination) confirming its miniature size. [To view the images, Click Here].

The new revelations come just days after the Japanese major accidently listed the Xperia Z1s on its official global website. The new phone's picture was pulled down after the report went wild.

As of now, Sony has confirmed to release the region specific Xperia Z1 Mini variant Xperia Z1 f (S0-02f) in Japan next month. It will exclusively be retailed by NTT Docomo.

Xperia Z1 f packs pretty much the same hardware components as seen inside the original flagship model Xperia Z1 sans the size. It sports 4.3-inch HD (720x1280p) display and runs on the Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean powered by 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 series CPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB in-built storage.

The mini model also houses a high-end 20.7-megapixel snapper boasting of DSLR camera features like G-Lens, BIONZ image processor and Exmor RS sensor.

Rumours are rife that the international variant Xperia Z1s will also pack the same specifications of the Japanese model and may get launched intially in Ukraine soon.
