Sony's Xperia Z1 Compact smartphone made a silent debut on the company's India website with a price tag of ₹36,990.
The smartphone is now available for purchase in the country through online retailers like Snapdeal (₹36,898) and Infibeam (₹ 36,990) and also at the brick and mortar showrooms. The Sony Xperia Z1 Compact, which made its debut at the International CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2014 sports 4.3-inch display HD (720x1280p) screen with TRILUMINOS display technology, X-Reality for mobile picture engine and Sony BRAVIA Engine 2.
On the software front, the phone runs on Android v4.3 Jelly Bean OS and is powered by 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU paired with Adreno 330 and 2GB RAM. It offers 16GB inbuilt memory, which is further expandable by upto 64GB.

The new smartphone comes equipped with 20.7megapixel camera on the back with G Lens, intelligent BIONZTM - mobile image processing engine , LED flash, Sony Exmor RS mobile image sensor, HDR, 8 X zoom and a 2.0-megapixel front-facing camera with full HD video recording ability.
Connectivity suite of the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, ANT+ wireless technology and it comes loaded with 2,300mAh battery. Sony Xperia Z1 Compact is available in Lime, Black, White and Pink colour options.
